Instead of simply writing or telling your story, one of our main story tools uses fabrics, ribbons, and other objects that are tied on to a “rope” representing events, people and places in one’s story. As they are attached to the “rope” they create a visual and tactile timeline of a person’s life.  Because this creative process engages both sides of the brain, people often encounter their story in a way they never have. When we invite Jesus and others into our story, we gain life changing insight into areas where, by ourselves, we are blind.
